Jennifer Lendler


Executive Vice President, Gaming Operations


With more than 16 years of experience in the gaming industry, Jennifer Kutcher Lendler has been involved in the development, management or consulting capacity at gaming enterprises from Macao to Iowa, from Switzerland to Las Vegas. Recruited personally by Phil Satre, then-President of Harrah's Entertainment Inc. in 1992, Mrs. Lendler held senior management positions in financial, development, and operations functions at both its land-based and Native American properties throughout Nevada and Washington State.


With direct authority over front-line departments, she is familiar with gaming operations at all levels including project development, strategic planning, capital budgeting, table games and slot operations, cage operations, information technology, and regulatory compliance.


As chief financial officer of a Native American casino in Washington State, Mrs. Lendler led the effort to successfully open the facility in under six months, which included construction planning, hard and soft construction budget development, and monitoring. She developed the personnel plan, directed hiring, and ultimately oversaw all operations within casino cage, count rooms, income control, accounting, and information technology. She was also responsible for developing all gaming board compliance documents, including internal controls, and was the liaison between the casino and state and federal regulators.


Mrs. Lendler joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) and was charged with managing gaming consultancy engagements on a worldwide basis. In that capacity she assisted private clients and public institutions on gaming matters in North and Central America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and The Caribbean.


Mrs. Lendler is certified as a gaming expert and has testified as a designated gaming expert before the Michigan Gaming Control Board and in the State Courts of Iowa and Wisconsin.


Mrs. Lendler is also the holder of numerous pending patents involving casino operations optimization systems and methods.


Her expertise and insight on industry fundamentals have been sought by journalists. She has been quoted on CNNfn. Mrs. Lendler has published various articles on tourism, travel, hotel, and casino issues for trade journals such as Lodging, and provided research quoted in The Wall Street Journal.


Mrs. Lendler has a strong command of the financing needs of casinos. Prior to entering the gaming industry she was an officer with Bank of Boston in Boston and Washington D.C. with expertise in mergers and acquisitions.


Mrs. Lendler received a Masters of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She also attended the University of Virginia, where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce.
